USB 3 no power

My pc, HP Pavilion 500-164 Desktop stopped recognizing my USB 3 PNY Turbo 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive - P-FD64GTBOP-GE. I used drive a few times, then safely removed and a month later plugged back in and no power light. OS is Win 8.1.

I have no other computer with a USB 3 port.

It will normally work on USB 2. I have a USB 3 flash drive that when plugged into a USB 2 port, will work.
