I'd like to connect a back-panel USB bracket (most probably bundled with my past Abit KG7 mobo) to the internal connector of my contemporary motherboard (ageing, but robust Asus P6X58D-E).

But unexpectedly I realized that the bracket's internal connector has the closed pinhole on the opposite side (links to the photos below).

Do you have any idea what's the bracket's standard is and/or if threre's any way to connect it to the motherboard without soldering (any adapter available)?

The black plug appears to be a "Front Panel USB Connector" based on the pinout diagrams that I found.

Front Panel USB Connector

Do some additional searches and revise the search criteria as applicable as you learn....

Unless the pinouts can be completely matched to the intended ASUS host motherboard I would be very wary of plugging the bracket in.

The head of the blue arrow being "No pin".

A multimeter should be used to confirm the connectivity from end to end.

Barring some specific confirmation that the adapter bracket matches and can be used for USB on the intended ASUS host.
