USB C Cable extension. Needing to lenghten the usb c on my docking station to relocate. Are there any good cables or is there a different way to do it. Docking station does have pass thru for the laptop so cable needs to carry current don’t know the exact wattage.

Lenovo Yaga laptop. Docking station is J5 powered station only need USB C extension to be a couple of feet long to relocate station. Everything else attached to docking station is 2 monitors wireless keyboard and mouse

First, based on the specs of your docking system, you need a cable able to handle high data rates, and that means USB3. The older USB2 system can move data at a max rate of 480 Mbs/ (0.48 Gb/s). The newer system now has ALL versions labelled as USB 3.2 Genn , with the n part specifying max data transfer rate and some specs on max power carrying. NOTE for data rate this is the MAX and most devices you might use cannot go as fast as this communication max rate, but that's by design. Also note that the names have changed, so you'll see earlier names like USB3, USB3.1, etc.

The current system is: Gen1 can move data up to 5 Gb/s. Gen2 can move up to 10 Gb/s. Gen2x22 can hit 20 Gb/s max. There is an even newer USB4 system comparable to some Thunderbolt systems, but you will not need that. All are backwards-compatible so you CAN use a cable that is "over-rated" for your needs. For Gen2 and Gen2x2 grades, you really NEED to use cables with Type C connectors, That is what your system requires, anyway.

I suggest the USB 3.2 Gen1 is likely adequate for you, but Gen2 MIGHT be better considering you have video involved in that docker. The Lenovo site does NOT give clear specs. Certainly the older USB2 system capable of 0.48 Gb/s is NOT good enough.

It's not clear what length of cable you need. For USB 3.2 all Gen's you should have cables NOT more than 3 m (10 ft)m and shorter is better for reliable data transfers.

I searched for USB 3.2 Gen1 or Gen2 cables with Type C connectors on both ends, and length 6.6 Ft (2 m) or less. There are LOTS that emphasize fast CHARGING, but you don't need that - you need fast data transfer. There also are LOTS that spec only USB2 data speeds, not suitable for you. Be very careful of a statement that the cable is "Compatible" with USB 3.2 data speeds - often that is a distortion that means it will work, but NOT at the full speed you think. Ensure the claim actually is a Gen1 (5 Gb/s) or Gen2 (10 Gb/s) or even higher. With those criteria in mind, I found these examples

I often look closely at user ratings and examine the worst ratings (1 star etc) for worst-case reports. I also look for how many ratings are reported - a small sample tells you less. Among the ones I found, it is clear that items with MANY raters also are going to show more 1-star ratings, so this gets hard to evaluate. I'll let you make your own judgments about those factors. I encourage you to look elsewhere, too - most of my looking was on Amazon.com.
