Question USB-C hub compatibility with Lenovo 81BG i5 8250 with 8 gb ram ?

My laptop has a USB-C port on it. I know that it doesn't have Thunderbolt 3 but i only have two usb a's there so i need a hub. But i am not sure if usb hub that has hdmi and ethernet on it will work with my laptop. I have found some but some of them say that they are for macbook pro's so i am not sure if they are going to work on my Lenovo laptop?. I just want to be sure before i order. Thanks in advance.

the laptop usb-c didn't said it output video. so no.
ethernet probably work.
