[SOLVED] usb-c to hdmi on oculus quest

Hello,

Next november Oculus link will launch. They say that you need a high quality usb c to usb c cable for it to work. My gpu doens't support usb c. So can i use a cable that is usb c to hdmi? Usb c goes in the headset and the hdmi cable goes in my video card.

As I understand it, you don't need HDMI from your graphics card for Link. You just need an available USB 3.0 port. A USB cable plus a USB to USB-C adapter is probably going to be sufficient.

so if i have like a phone charging cable from usb a to usb c it will work?

Depends on the phone. If the phone uses a USB-C, then it should work. Not having one, I can't say for certain.
