Anyone else having trouble with these connector? I have had two now that simply stop working as though the connection elements have become misaligned with port

Nope. Never an issue, with multiple devices and peripherals. You must be doing something wrong.

Please explain more. What are you using? How did you detect the problem(s)?

It literally doe snothing. The connections fits ie it goes in the slot but there is no connection between the dvices

What makes you thinks its the connector and not the cable its attached to?
