USB corrupt files not showing

Well the USB shows 4gb is being used out of 8. There were files on there but some how it all got corrupt. Is there a way I can recover the files?

I cant see the files no more ;/ I also checked show hidden files.

Hey 1nstant. Go ahead and try @WebBeachBoy's advice. And he's probably right about the reason the flash drive got corrupted. People still think that this is pretty pointless, but it's important that whenever you use an external HDD, a flash drive, a memory card etc. that you always eject/dismount it from Windows, before you disconnect it from the computer.

1) do not try to write any new files to the disk or copy software / programs onto it.
2) Downlod and install the EaseUS Data Recovery program (free DL) this is a powerful tool for recovering lost files.

The usual reason for files on USB drives being lost or not accessible is that the drive was disconnected from the computer without first being dismounted in windows.
