USB debugging/ Developer Options Nexus 5

Most blogs advise: "1. Enable USB debugging: Go to phone settings -> About -> Tap build number repeatedly until developer menu is enabled. Go there and tick USB debugging."

My Nexus 5x running Android 7.1 was made by LG for the Korean local market it is slightly different than the US models I guess. can anyone tell me how to enable USB debugging? I have been tapping away to no avail....
