Question USB devices randomly disconnect and reconnect

Hi,

I've been researching a problem I'm having with a newly built PC. The random USB devices are disconnecting and reconnecting and now I'm getting random freezes. I tried removing different USB devices and it keeps happening. I added a couple of USB2 ports connected to the motherboard. Now my printer isn't connecting. I added a passive powered four port USB hub but devices are disconnecting from there as well. I've already uninstalled all of the various USB drivers in Device Manager.

It's starting to sound like a faulty motherboard. I'd rather not RMA my MB at this point because gaming is keeping me occupied with being stuck in the house more.

Anything else I can try?

Well. It stopped happening for a week or so and I rebooted for Windows updates and it happened again. Is there a way to find out what device disconnected?
