I have a USB drive on which I am going to copy over the latest BIOS for my motherboard (Asus P8P67 PRO). I am planning on updating the BIOS using the Asus EZ-Flash utility.
I am going to format the USB drive as FAT32, as recommended by my motherboard manual. Here are the settings:
Capacity: 3.65 GB
File System: FAT32 (Default)
Allocation unit size: Default allocation size
My question is this:
When formatting a USB drive that will contain a motherboard BIOS file, does it matter what allocation unit size I use when formatting the USB drive as FAT32?
