Question usb flash drive works in tv not pc

I have a crucial blaze 8 GB flash drive, my TV recognizes and plays video, music from the drive, no problem. As soon as I plug the drive into my PC, the PC slows down and cannot recognize the flash drive. I cannot open the drive to check what is going on with it or do anything with it on the PC. I plugged it into a laptop as well and same issue. Can someone suggest what is happening and how to fix this problem if it is fixable.

How did you get video/music on the usb?

Hi, the Usb Flash was working fine until recently. I was copying files over to the drive from the PC. When the transfer completed, I tried to open the flash drive to check what files I had on it, couldn't open it. Plugged it into the TV usb port, and it worked. Tried to open it on PC again, nothing. Tried the laptop, nothing. When I first plug it into the PC, everything slows down, PC registers that its a crucial drive and all of a sudden the drive drops form being recognized and I get an error message.
