On the Asus B550-E motherboard front panel connectors, USBE_12 and USBE_34 means that each can support two USB 2 ports. ie 1,2 and 3,4. Does header U32G1_12 support two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and USBG2_7 support seven USB 3.2 Gen2 ports?

Solution
Yes, U32G1_12 header contains connection for two USB 3.2 ports on PC case. That is, for those two USB 3.2 ports on PC case, a single cable/connector is used on motherboard side. That is, even U32G1_12 header is a single connector, it contains two physical USB connections.
USB 3.2 Gen2x2 devices are still quite rare.. actually most devices declared as USB3.2 are "only" up to 5Gbps -which is enough in most cases, I think.
USBE_12 & USBE_34 -each support a single USB 2.0 Type-A port.
U32G1_12 -supports two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports.
USB3.2_7 -supports single USB 3.2 Gen2 USB-C port.

...darn, can they make all this USB naming even more complicated? Probably not..

So the two 3.2 Gen 1 port wires attach to one header?
USB confusing? At least I don't think any cases or mobos have 3.2 Gen 2 x 2 ( the 20Gbps one ) yet.
The Asus manual does say that each USB header supports two ports but I may have understood that incorrectly.
