USB Hub Bad Drivers

I have gotten 3 USB hubs, some new some used and plugged one into my computer after it started. It installed the drivers fine. Next boot up it failed to start up, sticking at "starting windows" with no logo. I repair and get a bad driver error. So I manage to get the thing working again.

I plug in a brand new USB hub. It installs the driver as windows does.
Repeat the same thing.

All of my USB hubs do this.
I am confused as to what I should do.

Welcome to the TH Community, @lordseanington!

I suspect that the issue is most probably coming from the USB ports on your computer, rather than the USB hubs themselves. In order to determine whether or not this is true, I'd advise you to check how the USB hubs are performing and behaving in another working PC/laptop around you. If the problem is only on your computer, I'd strongly recommend you go to the motherboard/PC manufacturer's official website and find your model there. Once you click on Downloads/Support & utilities there, you should be able to select the OS version you are using and manually download & update the USB Hub controller drivers for your PC/mobo.

Hope it works. Keep me posted! :)

Thank You for the warm welcome. I Will keep you posted once i get back to my computer, I am out somewhere right now.
I also know that the USB hubs are working properly on other computers.
At least i have found a way to make my computer work again after each failed start. I know back when I was using one of them only, it worked absolutely fine. One day it just didn't work, after after allot of fooling around I managed to get it to work.
What I found was when I tried booting into recovery, it would not work unless I had a disk in the disk drive even if it was empty.
I'll keep you posted.

After messing around updating drivers for a while, I restarted my computer and plugged in the newest of the USB hubs. I let it do its thing for a few, unplugged it, restarted my computer and it seems to work fine.
Thank you for your help.

I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue, @lordseanington!

My last recommendation would be to always make sure you back up your files to at least one more storage location on-site as well as off-site. Having multiple duplicates is what will save you from the headaches of data loss.

Best of luck! :)
