[SOLVED] USB mic problem

Just bought headset that has just usb connector. But microphone is too quiet. I read that windows 10 didn't do anything about that problem. But I saw that you can fix it with 3rd party apps. Tried equalizer apo, but it didn't work. Did I do something wrong with that software or there is just no solution? What should I do? Get headset with 3.5mm connectors?

What headset?
Also in windows, right click on the speaker in the bottom right corner,
select sounds
then click the recording tab
locate your headset on the list,
double click on it or right click then chooser properties
click levels tab
then increase the slider

Also depending on what application you are using, there should be an option to increase the microphone volume in a similar fashion.
