USB not working.

Ok so I recently bought parts for the new computer I built. When I turned on the PC for the first time the monitor never displayed anything and the USB ports did not detect my mouse or keyboard. PLEASE HELP!

Are you using USB 3.0 or 2.0 ports? (Blue for 3, black for 2)

Have you ever gotten it to post or boot to BIOS? A list of parts would be helpful.

No RAM yet.

You're going to have to wait until you get some RAM before you do anything. Without it, you can apply power to the mobo, but it won't do anything. Kind of like a brain without the nervous system.
