USB only works on a angle

One of my usb ports only works when i push the thumb drive gently to the left. Anybody know a fix?

It's likely the actual USB port has been damaged, likely from something heavy being held by the port (maybe a some keys on a key-chain with the USB port). I've got the same problem with my front USB ports on my desktop. You MIGHT be able to change the USB ports with some new ones and some hot glue but there's mixed opinions on how well this works.
