USB over current?

I just build my very first computer last night, and when I turned it on I got a code saying, " no keyboard detected" and "USB over current systems will shut down in 15 seconds"
Any advice? Or ways to fix it?

My guess is look into the port the keyboard is plugged into. Every time i have seen overcurrent it is one of 2 things. (1) You plug a device into another device AKA usb hard drive into the USB port on a keyboard and the USB port on the keyboard cant provide enough juice or (2) The plastic dohicky inside the USB port has broken off and the metal pins inside are shorting/touching each other.
