Hey guys,

Let me give you the lowdown on what I am trying to accomplish. We use CAMWorks here at our plant. CAMWorks isn't cheap and they send us keys on flash drives. If one of the flash drives goes missing that is about 10k out the door. Windows does not read the flash drives as an attached device.

What I am looking for, and hopefully you guys have done this, is a PCI card that will go onto the motherboard that will have a USB drive port on it so I can take the dongle and plug it into the card and the dongle will go in there then I could lock the Chassis.

Anyone seen these and can show me a link to one? Thanks

Don't really bother me I just want to make sure nobody would be able to screw them up by plugging something since a $10k dongle would be on the inside

i think i understand what you're asking for, one that has a usb port internal to the computer so the $10k dongle can't be taken out easily and either lost or "walk away"

you could fabricate one but there isn't one that i'm aware of - you could use one of the units posted above and simply fabricate a plate to cover the unused usb ports, and secure the dongle as well
