as the title states im at a lost for words. the usb 3.0 ports dont work on boot so i cant access the bios with them but all the other ports allow me to do so. but when i enter windows 10 only the usb3.0 ports functiom properly and is able to recognize my keyboard and mouse. in device manager it seems i dont have the driver for icho family 3a56/ 3a58 etc etc ive trued all the drivers i could find to no avail. (i did flash the bios once but i didnt check if i had this problem before the flash. should i flash again just incase there was an error?) also there seems to be legacy options in the bios for mouse and keyboard but i read on the internet that those should be left enabled

Solution
- BIOS flash should not be necessary if you have the latest version.

- You could try another keyboard and see if it works in BIOS on the USB 3.0 ports.

- Drivers have nothing to do with keyboards not working in BIOS settings. Drivers you install in Windows are not loaded when you are in BIOS settings.

Your BIOS may have an issue recognizing your devices through your 2 USB 3.0 ports. Leave legacy USB on for sure. Why it's doing that could be anything. I honestly would consider just using the USB 2.0 ports for your mouse and keyboard. You gain nothing by using a faster ports and this leaves your USB 3.0 ports open for things that really do need it like USB drivers. If the USB 3.0 ports work in Windows I'd say forget about it.
