usb ports and audio ports not working

i got an ASUS laptop and just got it reformated and cleaned few days back.
i usually play games with all my ports occupied. my mouse, my usb headset, my keyboard (bcoz the laptop was too dam hot)
after i got it back (after reformated and cleaning) all ports seems to not working
the only thing working is the usb 3.0 port
even the mic and headphone ports are not working

when i plug my mouse into the usb port that is not working, no red light under the mouse (like all most mices do)

its like im not plugging anything
same goes to the audio ports
when i plugged my earphones in, the sound still come out of the speakers as if i didnt plug anything.

help plss :3

go to the asus website and look up the model of your laptop , there under support and downloads you fill find a list of the drivers for your system
download them and install them to get your usb ports and audio working , i can give you a link if you let me know the model of your asus laptop

EDIT : i found the website where i can download the drivers but its so many
which one should i download? Everything?

i think the slot is broken theres no red light under my mouse and and even my headset which usually have a mic indicator 🙁 should i send it to a professional to fix?

EDIT : ill download and install the drivers tonight. i need to play some games cuz just took an exam this morning 😀 cheers

Downloading the drivers from the website will allow the laptop motherboard to identify all of its input/output.

If you're unsure of what to download then, check if you still have your support cd that came with the laptop,

after installation and the problem persist, then we check for hardware faults.

your only problems for the moment are audio and usb , i would download just those for a start and see if that fixes your problem
edit : if you wish to download the rest of the drivers after that you may do so but you only need the latest version of each driver

im kinda busy right now so maybe ill do it some other time
after all 1 usb is enough for now (my mouse)

installed everything except :
utillities
wireless
bluetooth
others
-because i dont think these are neccesary (correct me if im wrong)

and also i didnt install vga because i already installed it seperately earlier from nvidia's site


but the problem is still there 🙁
tbh, there aint any difference
i think theres a problem with the hardware?

no yellow triangles anywhere
like i said i just got it back after i send it to a shop for cleaning
maybe that guy accidently disconnect anything perhaps?

open the side of your case and follow the leads that go to the front panel back to see if they are plugged into the motherboards usb port
also check that the front panel audio is also plugged into you motherboard.
To test if if drivers are working try a usb stick in one of the rear usb ports to see if that is working and your headphones into the green audio port on the rear of your computer
let me know if you get sound or the usb stick is working

ummm im using a laptop?

before was working fine
now the usb is not functioning
even no power is coming out of it (no light is coming on when i plug my device)
