USB ports not working on my laptop

Ok so yesterday I updated my windows 8.1 and today I turned on my PC and my keyboard and my mouse (logitech setup) were not working but the strange thing is that my other port on the right side of the laptop only works, why? how to fix that?

Make sure you've installed the drivers - check in Control Panel, Device Manager, usb's to see if they are working properly and their drivers are up to date.

DUDE i was just with the customer support he told me to uninstall usb port hub or something like that and NOTHING HAPPENED

btw when i turned my pc now i saw something asus smart something some lan usb ports are not wake up or.... somethign like htat
