Usb ports stopped working

All usb ports stopped working. I have an hp a6710in. What should i do?

Some ports are fully dead, some of them are showing USB device unrecognized, and one usb port is working but it disconnects and reconnects automatically.
I tried every single step to fix it but i failed, i tried updating all drivers. I unchecked allow this computer to turn off this device to save power in device manager.
At last i installed Windows 7 professional with erasing my all hard drive to get rid of it but nothing is changing.

See if you've got any BIOS updates pending. I would advise on uninstalling and reinstalling your chipset/USB drivers.

if a windows reinstall didn't fix it then I would say this is hardware related.

If installing the proper usb drivers as mentioned above does not restore it, maybe a bad mobo.
