Hello, I couldn't find a solution online so I decided to start a new thread. This started to occur once I switched from Windows 7 to 8.1 and continued when I switched to Windows 10. All of my USB ports started to randomly turn off and back on once in a while. If they were off for a long time I had no other choice than to reset my PC physically. This would last for a while and then stop happening for a month or so. I've tried changing power options, disabling turning off USB ports for power saving and a million other "solutions". This returned a few days ago but this time I noticed it only occured when I would use uTorrent, so I decided to uninstall it and replace it with BitTorrent. It didn't work. It's really frustrating because it turns off my keyboard, mouse and WiFi adapter. I appreciate all help I can get. My specs: MBO Asrock 970 US3 AMD FX series X8 8350 RAM 2X4GB DDR3 1600MHz HDD WD 1TB SATA3 PSU OCZ ModXstream 600W XFX Radeon R9 270X

You should specify your system specs with a bit more detail. Which ASRock 970 is it that you have? Are you sure you've updated the USB drivers for you platform?

Have a go with sfc / scannow and see if alleviates your problem. To add if the issue wasn't found on Windows 7 perhaps try and install your USB drivers and your other drivers thereof in Windows 10 under compatibility mode and see if that solves it.

Right click installer>Properties>Compatibility tab>Windows 7 [from drop down menu]

Sorry to update this thread but I have exactly the same problem as haimtusz except the keyboard and mouse are not turning off only the wifi adapter ...
This is my config :
-AMD FX 8320
-Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
-AMD Radeon R9 280x
-2x Kingston Hyperx Fury HX316C10F
-Samsung SSD 850 EVO
-Netgear WNDA3100v3 Wireless usb adapter

I did an sfc /scannow and no problems was found
