Hi,
I cannot connect my Samsung ML-2525 B&W laser printer to my computer.

I have noticed that there is a yellow triangle on the USB controller for USB Printing Support.

I get the message "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52) " .

I recently had to recover the laptop (HP Envy i5-6260CPU X4 @1.80, GHz) back to factory presets.

This is the only error I can find. It appears that the computer simply does not recognise the printer when I attach the Printer cable.

Many thanks in advance for any assistance on this problem.

Kind regards
Martin

PS
I should have mentioned that I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers from Samsung/

Also, I have installed Samsung "Easy Printer Manager" and this tells me there is no printer (despite one physically sitting on my desk attached to the computer with a USB Cable!

HI Guys,

Thank you all so much for your rapid and useful answers. What has happened is that as I had to restore the whole computer after a day or so I have received a message from HP to update the computer to the latest release of WIN10. After the update finished I tried the printer and it worked perfectly, so the update must have refreshed the USB controller.

many thanks again for your assistance
Kindest regards

try installing the newest intel chipset inf files see if your laptop is misisng any intel chipset drivers.
samsung printers are now owned by hp. if your trying to install the drivers and it failes. remove all of the older samsung drivers. windows 10 has a new samsung univsial print driver 3. it runs better then the older samsung drivers.
