Question USB tethering stops working after a while

Surfing the net is fine, but when I try downloading games from Steam or Uplay, the download starts for like 5 seconds and stops and after which I lose internet access on the connected network. Ive been doing this with no issues since a few weeks back, and this problem only popped up in the past few days. After I lose internet access, unplugging and replugging my phone to try and restart the tethering does not work. Only restarting my pc allows me to re-tether, but the same issue still persists. Please help

See if reinstalling your chipset and USB drivers changes your experience. Which OS are you on? If Windows 10, which version are you currently working with?

im using windows 10 version 1909
where can i find the drivers to reinstall?

I had the same problem. It took me a while but I finally found the solution. Simply use http://pdanet.co/ and follow the instructions provided. Thank me later.
