I need help from windows 10 users concerning wifi issues.
First, I had a Netgear a6200 that would constantly disconnect and reconnect. Switched to a Panda wireless PAU07 which seems to work for the most part. Did a complete clean install of my OS and started using the Panda. I've just encountered a problem with it as well and I'm ******* frustrated.

During large downloads, like 28GB for a game (star citizen patch), the usb wifi adapter will suddenly disconnect and I lose internet. Only seems to happen during large downloads. Unplugging it and plugging it in doesn't do anything, but if I unplug it and plug it in then WAIT for 2-3 minutes, I get rapid usb connect sounds from the computer finally catching up and then this error message saying the pc doesn't recognize the usb device (wifi adapter).

Only way to cure it is to restart, which fixes it immediately until I try to download a large file again.
The download will work fine for 5-10 minutes then this problem occurs again. PLEASE HELP ME I HATE THIS THING!!! I gave up and bought a 100 foot cat5e cable the other day and after spending an hour running it through the house it DIDNT WORK. I guess I damaged it with a staple..... I'm about to buy a mac and a playstation. Jesus.

I have cox 200Mb/s internet.

You have some immeditate options that may help:

1) Try putting the wireless USB adapters on a USB extension cord so the adapter can be raised up and moved about. (Note: USB cable length is limited to 15 feet/5 meters.)

2) It does appear as a disconnect but I would go into the Event Viewer logs and look for any errors or warning messages that occurred at or just before the disconnects.

3) Also check the wireless frequency and channels being used. If congested, lots of other wireless networks around) there may be some interference causing the loss of connectivity. Or some other home device doing the same.

As for the Ethernet cable:

As for the Ethernet cable:

4) Double check your ethernet cable by inspecting it. Check the connectors on each end. They should be firmly connected and you should be able to see if the color coded cables are all correctly placed and in place.

5) Look for staples, hard kinks, smashed or sqeezed sections, or hard twists in your run.

6) Make sure that you correctly reconfigured your computer for wired ethernet connectivity. Very easy to set something incorrectly, make a typo, or just forget some setting. Disable the wireless adapter while working with the wired adapter.
