Question USB WiFi adapter

I just bought a new computer that comes with a WiFi adapter and it only detects 2.4ghz but I have 5ghz. Is there any solution?

get a new one that sees 5Ghz. Does your router have a 2.4 Ghz band that is turned off?

5g is on my phone and basically on every tithed device but my computer for some reason doesn’t recognize it. For my usb WiFi adapter it says 802.11n. And I thought that supposed 5g
