Question USB wireless mouse only works on laptop when 2 USB wireless mouse are plugged into laptop

Hello, I have a weird problem with my USB wireless mouse connecting to laptop. For some reason, my USB wireless mouse only works on my laptop when I plugged in 2 USB wireless mouse into the laptop. They both work when that happen. However, the moment I unplug 1 of them, the other one stops working. I have tried the following:

1. Restarting computer
2. In device manager, uninstalling mouse and USB controller

Any help is appreciated
