USB3.0 PCIe Card not being recognized.

Hi,

I bought this card Orico PCIe Card that has many USB3 ports: http://goo.gl/18W9wl
My mobo is a Gigabyte GA-990FXA UD3 R5 Rev 1 shown here: http://goo.gl/KjRDvz
I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64Bit with all the updates up to date.
The motherboard CD comes with the latest chipset driver (the one used by the card).

I followed all the steps but the card is not being recognized by the system.
Already tried reinstalling the driver, the chipset driver, and a few more steps suggested online,

Anyway, When I try to install the driver from the disk (not the one from windows itself, I get this error message:

In Device Manager, this is the status showing:

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Are you *sure* you installed the card in a correct slot and that it is properly seated? If so, your card could be DOA.

the second screenshot is most logically because the device driver has not been installed.

Yes I'm sure I installed it in the correct slot and that it is properly seated. I also reconnected the 20-pin connector and the 4-pin one, just to be safe...
Is there a way to confirm it is DOA?
