[SOLVED] USBs not working

My USB ports on the back of the PC weren't working today, only the ones on the front of my PC. I tried using a different keyboard and mouse, using different ports on the back of my PC and none of them worked. Restarting the PC didn't fix anything either.

I read an article that said I should uninstall all USB devices from device manager and then restart the pc so it would reinstall it. Now, none of my USB ports work, so I am stuck. My keyboard, mouse, headphones and USB ethernet adapter don't work and I can't get into my PC anymore. what do I do now?

Turn off your pc, unplug it from the wall. Pull the cmos battery out of the motherboard, and wait ten minutes. Then put battery back in, plug back in to wall, and try restart. Does that help?
