I built my own pc about 2 years ago and just got a 4k Smart TV that supports miracast. The only problem is that my pc doesnt have onboard bluetooth or a wifi card. What can I do to make my PC Compatible with MiraCast?

(I'm using it to play my games on the TV. My monitors are only 1080p)

Even then, the compatibility list isn't that high. I have a self-built couple year old PC (Haswell, Gigabyte MB) as well with built in WiFi, and Miracast will not work with it.

Miracast is ungodly picky with what hardware works with it. My Roku has Miracast, but I ended up having to get a Chromecast regardless to broadcast to my TV with any of my devices.

As for gaming, neither option is a good choice as there is a highly noticeable delay between device and receiver. My Chromecast has it horridly. The Miracast setup at the local Microsoft store in the mall has it too.

The only problem with that is my setup is about 20 feet from my tv, and I am trying to maintain a wire - free look. Thanks for the help though :)

It can be done, but it requires much better/ more expensive equipment than Chromecast/Miracast such as an HDMI transmitter like:

This article explains about it more and the competing standards:
