Use seagate internal hard drive externally

I have an old Seagate Barracuda hard drive model number ST3120023A which I would like to use as an external hard drive. I'm also interested on what is on it as my computer died about 4 years ago and would like to check it's contents (I think most of what is on it was backed up but am not certain)

It measures 4 ins x 5.75 ins x 15/16 ins approx.

Can you help with connections and/or an external case and with these how to connect etc?

You can buy a external HDD enclosure and use it as a external HDD.

They work simply by just putting the HDD into the case (might invole unscrewing the enclosure)
One that is done, simply plug the HDD enclosure to your PC and you are good to go.

Or you could get something a little easier like this easy to use product.

warhead0s link wont work for you. your drive is ide and thats a Sata dock

Get a dock if you want, adapter don't have power for the drive. Get esata or usb 3.0 if you have them, faster speed.
