Question Used 1080 ti or new RTX 2080?

Should I get a GTX 1080 ti (Evga sc2) which I am getting for $510 or buy a new RTX 2080 card? Currently have a GTX 1080 and I am playing at 1440p at 144hz mostly fps games for context.

They perform very close, the 1080 ti will get a few more FPS in some games and on other titles the 2080 will perform better.
