I had realized my mistake and deleted said post almost immediately. 😛

Now, as for "anything new" getting murdered by the used market, the 1080 Ti for ridiculous prices won't really be beat performance-wise. But I digress. I do think the 7970 was a really good deal.

Yeah it definitely was a good deal. Like I said earlier I think that the 7950's are your best bet, plus I think they look cooler than the 680's.

I agree, also are you sure that your motherboard supports SLI? I don't think it does, if it doesn't then you need to get the AMD cards because it doesn't matter if the board says it supports it or not since the only requirements Crossfire needs is enough PCI-E slots for all the cards and an SLI bridge, unless you want to go bridgeless crossfire, then I think you need a mobo that supports it, but you can't run bridgeless on these cards.

ASUS P67 Deluxe (reversion 3) which is what is coming in the mail supports up to quad sli and squad crossfire

ASUS p8p67 Deluxe https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/P8P67_DELUXE/

Supports up to Quad SLI and Quad CFX

7950 guy has yet to respond to anything while the 680 guy has he doesn't know if he can benchmark them for me. 7970 guy is the best bet right now, says I can test whenever.
Update:7950 listing has been deleted or expired.

That sucks, also I wonder if a 7970 can beat 680 sli?

decided not to get the 7970, dude lived an hour and some change away and he seemed a little sketchy and from a sketchy part of town. 680's ive become eh about rather have a 780 if possible just no one has any posted

Well ok just a thought. Also a 960 is roughly the speed of a 780 with a bit more efficiency. I would consider the 280x its a fairly new card and probably about like what a 1060 ti would be.

A 960 is not the same speed as a 780!

780 is marginally slower than the 970
780 ti is faster than the 970

the 280x is not a new card, just a rebrand of a 7970

Ok well first of all I said roughly the same speed not the exact same, I know there was going to be a difference, and I was thinking of a 380x not the 280x, sorry.

A 960 is nowhere near a 780 in performance. It's worse than even a 770. 380x still loses to a 1060 so wouldn't beat a theoretical 1060ti. Where are you getting all this misinformation? Please stop spreading it or I will see it as intentional.

Ok, well not intentional, just the thoughts of my own mind taking over. When I said that it was late at night and I was tired so just calm down my dude.
