Hello! As the title already suggested, OCCT detected a WHEA error when I used the "CPU + RAM" test. Even before this, I used prime95 to try and test out if my RAM was not fault or anything (as I have upgraded it) and whenever I do use Prime95, after a few seconds, it would just completely freeze like I cannot do anything at all. I would have to force shutdown my pc through holding the power button till it turns off to regain access and control again.

I have been trying to diagnose and searching for solutions to my problem and I have not arrived at such. I am really struggling and I need help, please do help me out. For further information this is the specific things in the event viewer said regarding the WHEA error:

General:
A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Unknown Error Source
Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor APIC ID: 1

Start by making sure everything in up-to-date including BIOS. The try running Windows Memory Diagnostic. Any errors at all, replace your RAM.
I'll try this, but I made sure all my drivers were up-to-date. My BIOS has also been updated recently. I also did a Windows Memory Diagnostic but no errors appeared. But I will retry them

In the mean time, what do you think could have possibly caused this?

What are your CPU temps?
When idle, it maintains around 35 to 38 celcius (even when on google and opening multiple tabs or apps) and has an occassion to arrive at around 40 to 45. When under load (haven't played games but utilized stress tests like OCCT) the CPU temps arrive on safe and normal levels around 60c to 67c. To sum it up, my CPU temps are all fine, I do not see any overheating.

In advance, my GPU also is normal too, although when putting it using OCCT's stress test (which really creates heavy load), I arrive at around 75 and hitting max at 81 or 80. If idle it maintains it around 40c to 43c.

I am starting to also think this may be caused by the motherboard? I actually upgraded my mobo and ram and this is when it started, but I am ruling out the RAM as I have also individually tested it using OCCT and even let good ol' windows memory diagnostic to run to see any errors, but none came up. I also did not enable XMP and set everything to default settings on the bios.

Could it possibly be my new motherboard causing this WHEA error or another part?
