Used Titan X should I or should I not

I found a used Titan X (900 series) in LA for $450. I work with huge data sets (Point Clouds,Cyclone, Revit). I am building a new machine and trying to figure out if an older Titan X at that price is worth utilizing.

This is what I have collected so far

1. Corsair AX1600i ATX Power Supply Digital 1600W CP-9020087
2. Thermaltake Tower 900 Snow Edition
3. ASUS Z10PE-D16 WS LGA 2011-v3
4. Daul Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2620 v3
5. No GPU Yet?????????????
6. 128 Gigs 2133 ECC

I am asking this room as allot of you have experience with GPUs.

I see 980ti's for $350, so i wouldn't pay $100 more for basically the same card.

Unless it happens to do something better for your specific workload, but from what i understand there is not much difference.
