Using a Gaming PC build for animating?

Hello guys,
I am from South Africa and I want to start animating (as an amateur).
I was wondering if you could use a gaming pc build for animating, if so would this pc (https://www.evetech.co.za/Computer-systems/intel-core-i5-power-pc-161.aspx) be suitable or if it needs anything else.

That is not much of a gaming system without a video card or a good power supply in it. CPU is fine though, you would want one of the top two power supplies they offer and at least the 1030 video card. Of course faster CPU and faster video card will cut down on any render times.

•500W 80+ High Performance Power Supply
Or does the wattage need to be higher?

It's not a matter or pure wattage they say it had, but of quality of the components. There is no listing of the brand, and any of the options are too powerfull for the lower end video card, which is wasted money.
