Hey! I want to achieve a weird scenario. What I want to establish is, I want to setup a phone in a foreign country (ie. India), so maybe a landline or a cellphone which can make local calls within the country.
Now I am residing in a differing country, (ie. Australia) and what I want to configure is that, how can I setup a such device in India and connect it to internet (in my home there) and I then call an Indian number via the INTERNET and this call is sent to the internet-connected device in India and that device forwards this call (or adds me as a conference) to a local number.
So, basically, say I want to dial the number; "+91 9555555555" using a VOIP or some internet telephone system via my mobile in Australia. This VOIP call is first sent to the Indian internet connected device which then forwards it via a Cellular Network call to the end destination. Essentially I am trying to avoid my local cellular network charging me for international calls.
Is anything like this possible?
Thanks.
