Using a new pc to get pictures from an old hard drive.

I have a new PC running windows 10 and stumbled upon an old hard drive at my mother's house. She asked if I could get the pictures from it. The hard drive uses older connectors and has windows xp on it. Would it be possible to recover the pictures.

You'd need a IDE to USB or SATA adapter.
