Hey everyone, so I got an old Galaxy Tab 2 (P-3100), and the only purpose I found for it lately is as a separate display. It's...acceptable for the display quality, but the input lag is pretty bad
(from the USB connection, I tethered it to the PC and I'm using spacedesk). I got a pretty stupid question though, if I get an OTG cable, a USB-HDMI adapter and an HDMI cable to connect the tablet to my PC, will it help in any way? Because I feel like it might be the fact it's a USB 2.0 connection that's slowing things down, though I am not sure if changing to HDMI (with 2 adapters) might help.

Solution
No, the only way to have a "lag" free display would be to disassemble the device, take out the screen, buy a driver board, hook it up and make yourself a DIY display. Saying that it wouldn't be all that expensive, lots of people do it with old laptop displayers, usually he driver boards are 5-20 USD on ebay or aliexpress and generally plug and play. I dont know about table displays though

I know about that version but I'm a bit scared of trying that, since I have no experience with this also doubt I can get the parts where I'm from. Also don't know the connectors between the tablet parts
