[SOLVED] Using Arris MEB1100 as MoCA adapater?

Long story short, I need a moca adapter since the home I'm in only runs coaxial. So would this following situation be possible?

Currently a brand new adapter is a bit expensive for me, and I'm wondering if I could use two Arris MEB1100 to create a connection over coaxial. From what I've researched so far I saw nothing says I can't, I'm just not sure since this is OEM equipment, however as I said, there isn't anything stating it can't be used as such a way. Any thoughts?

Solution
Very interesting! I thought I knew all the cheapest moca gear out there. These are dirt cheap on ebay.

I couldn't find any manuals on these either unfortunately. Luckily, moca is pretty plain dead simple--you plug it in and it either works or it doesn't.

The main thing you're going to have to make sure is that you don't have some sort of splitter or whatnot causing problems for the signal between the two points.

Now, if you're looking for something around the same price as the MEB1100 new, I would highly consider the gocoax 2.5Gbps moca adapters. They're cheaper and faster!

Here's a second question, would it be possible to use a Actiontec WCB6200Q and a TV with a splitter or diplexer. I ask this as a way to save cost from having to buy a separate access point or router with a 2nd moca adapter.
