Hello all. Most PC user would ask how to use but i have a weird question. How can i use both connection on same monitor at a same time?. I have a BENQ GL2450 monitor, The DVI is used for monitor and the VGA is for analogue tv tuner box. The problem is i only either can watch TV or computer. If i want to watch TV i need to put my pc to sleep or if i want to use pc,i have to close/put on standby the tv box. How can i have two input display simultaneously or quickly switch between both without closing either one???. Thank you

Unless your monitor has a button on it which allows you to change between viewing DVI or VGA then no you can't. What you are essentially after is a button that changes what input the monitor is receiving the current signal from. Like on a TV where you can change between HDMI 1 and 2 ETC so you can have consoles and dvd players plugged in to the tv at the same time.

Basically just have a look what the buttons on your monitor do. There may be one that changes between the two, if not then I am afraid the only way to do it is either turn the PC/TV Tuner Box off or remove the cable you are not using from the monitor.

Darn, then i have to use existing method which is to switch input using monitor menu which roughly take 10 second from starting to browsing the menu till the display switch or sometimes the first method.
