Using Corsair H100i with Phnatake Fan Hub

Im trying to get my H100i and all 4 of its corresponding Noctua 120mm fans to run off of the CPU Fan header on the motherboard and then control them through Fan Xprt2. My problem is that the motherboard does not sense any activity on the CPU fan header eben though thats where I plug the Fan Hub into and all four of the fans are running. I have my other 3 Noctua 140mm fans plugged into the various motherboard headers and they work perfectly with Fan Xprt2. Any ideas?

Why are you doing it this way? The installation instructions for the H100i specifically say that the fans on the radiator MUST be plugged into the two special sockets on the side of the pump unit of the H100i system. (The corsair system includes two special cables for this, each of them having two 4-pin male output connectors for your fans to plug into.) The fans should NOT be connected to the Phanteks PWM Hub at all.

Now the rest of the instructions say that three other connections between system and pump unit are required. There is a single wire from the pump unit that ends in a female 3-pin fan connector, and THAT is what must plug into the mobo's CPU_FAN header so the H100i can report speed to the mobo. There is a cable from the pump unit that must be plugged into a SATA power output connector from the PSU for power the the h100i system. And lastly, you must connect a cable from a socket on the pump to a USB header on your mobo so it can communicate with the mobo. The last part is not cables - you must download from the Corsair website and install their Corsair Link software, which is how the system is controlled. That software is what does the actual controlling of the entire H100i system.

Since you have enough mobo SYS_FAN headers to handle all your case fans and you do NOT need the Phanteks PWM Hub for the H100i system, you do not need to be using that Hub at all.
