Using dos in ME

I would like to know if it is possable forme to hack out the code in me that is stopping me booting in to dos? im happy to try anything (except voodoo) any suggestions? also in 98 typing msconfig in the run box gave you a cool tool for controling startup but i cant find it any more. is it under a diffrent name or something?

I know msconfig is a downloadable utility you can get from MS websight. I actually used it for win2k and it worked.
