I have 3 HDDs for data and an SSD for system all connected to four sata2 sata connectors on my mainboard and I want to add 2 more HDDs whilst two gsata3 sata connectors are available. The manual says those gsata3 connectors are for raid configuration and I dont know anything about raid nor I want to use that feature. My question is that can I use them to connect my new drives as i connected my drives to sata2 connectors?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Don't bother with the GSATA ports since they do not support JBOD, instead only having RAID 0 and 1 setups. If you want to add more capacity to your system, you should ditch the existing HDD's and pick up larger sized HDD's. You have a limit of 4 ports, so your other HDD's should be larger in size...since you can't add anymore.

No.
