[SOLVED] Using Hirens Win 10 not booting

Hi All

Hi I am trying to recover some data from hard drives using Hirens on my desktop.Hirens come up with a message

I checked my desktop bios and subsequently found the bios was legacy.I changed the legacy to UEFI by using the command line MBR2GPT.EXE /CONVERT.The bios was changed to UEFI

I have used rufus to to set up a bootable stick

On the point of giving up as even though the bios is uefa it will not accept it.The motherboard is Asrock B450 Pro 4 It does not appear to give you an option for CSM or UEFI but it is an UEFI configured.

Any ideas appreciated before throwing in the towel

Or suggestion for free software to recover data on a working 3.5 hard drive which is accessible using payed easyusdata recovery software.

Try THIS tool that one of the other members just came across that is a replacement tool for Hirens and it too is completely free.
