Hello guys, I'm gonna build a ryzen 7 gen system with a 7800x3d cpu in a Asus Tuf Gaming X670E-Plus. I'm thinking to get a Corsair Dominator Platinum 2X16GB 6200 (CMT32GX5M2X6200C36) but it's a Intel XMP RAM.

Will I run into instability issues?

I have this option too: Corsair Dominator Platinum 2x16 5200MHZ (CMT32GX5M2B5200Z40) which is a EXPO RAM.

They are the same price here.

What do you guys recommend to me?

If the RAM is in the QVL, the computer should POST at JEDEC stock frequency, but there's no guarantee it'll reach the maximum XMP frequency.

You're more likely to achieve success with slower memory, but you might be wasting extra performance (if your apps benefit).

I'm running my 7950X at 4,800 for stability, but my 2x32GB Corsair Vengeance kit bought in December 2022 only goes up to 4800 in XMP.

Are you proficient at manual frequency adjustments of Primary and Secondary RAM timings? If so, buy the 6200 kit.

No, I don't know how to tweak RAM... I think i'm gonna with the safe choice (5200 expo)... But I heard that the X3D cpu's get a great boost in perfomance with faster dimms... Do you think that I'm gonna lose a lot of perfomance with the 5200 C40 instead of the 6000 C36?

The "great boost" for X3D CPUs with faster RAM only becomes apparent in some applications. You might get higher benchmarks in some games, but the difference between, say, 134fps at 5200 and 141fps at 6000 is unlikely to spoil your enjoyment. The GPU often has a greater influence in some programs than system memory speeds.

Just accept the fact you might not be able to run your RAM at 6000. You could get lucky, or the system might BSOD when overclocking.

Hello!

I wouldn't do that!
There are many EXPO RAM kits out there.
Here is an example:

Kingston Fury Beast KF556C36BBEK2-64 (2x32GB 5600MT/s CL36-38-38 @1.25V) XMP/ EXPO Profiles.
It runs on both Intel & AMD.

Hello!

I would recommend this kit that runs both on Intel & AMD, by having separate (XMP/EXPO) profiles for both platforms:

Kingston Fury Beast KF556C36BBEK2-32 (2x 16GB DDR5-5600MT/s CL36-38-38 @1.25V)

I hope this helps...

Regardless of what memory kit you buy, don't be surprised if the system is unstable at higher EXPO/XMP settings. It might not even POST at 6200. You might have to manually tweak the timings.
