Using my desktop pc without a monitor

Hi,

I've searched a lot of threads but couldn't find an answer. I have a self build pc but the monitor stopped working. I will get a new one in a couple of days but in the main time i still want to use it.
I have a working laptop and my question is how can i get the screen of my desktop on my laptop?
Or is it possible to open up the program teamviewer on my desktop without using the monitor?

Can you temporarily use a TV. You would need to setup some type of remote access. Windows remote desktop protocol (RDP) is the simplest.

Control Panel -> System -> Remote Settings -- There are tutorials on setting up RDP -- Google "setup RDP" ...
