Question Using my tv as a Monitor

Since I'm tight on budget. And my monitor is only supports 1366x768, I want to upgrade to a monitor that supports 1080 resolution and suddenly I realized I have a tv that never been used and it supports 1080p do you think it's a good idea to used it as my monitor? And what are the things I should do when I use it as my new monitor?

Well that's a personal preference if it doesn't look right at defaults you can try that.

I still didn't tried because I'm going to move it from my room to my office it's screw on the wall btw. I'm going to use a hdmi from the gpu that I'm going to buy like we talked about lately
