Hello, first of all its my very first time building a pc and I usually will afford a 700-900$ PC.
Here are the specifications I ought to be building:

Intel core i5 4690k
Gtx750Ti
Any z97 motherboard (havent decided yet)
600W modular psu

I have an Xtreamer Ultra and think about taking its 4gb ddr3 ram and add it to the future build to make a total of 8gb ram, together witha Corsair 4gb ram or other company's chip (heard it doesnt actually matter).

Will they work fine? Does the fancy look of the corsair will show differance to the classic xtreamer 4gb chip?

Thanks in above!

DDR memory, usually will only work properly when all of the memory modules used are of the same Frequency and model and has similar Cas Latancy.

That is best worked out with a Memory kit you can purchase from the market. The Memory kit usually will contain 2, 3 or 4 memory modules which are completely compatible with each other. and can use in a dual, tri or quad channel setup which is more efficient. So in my opinion, get a new Memory kit.

I would suggest Patriot 8GB(2x4GB) Viper III DDR3 2133 .
